If you’ve been a regular reader of JoyFoodly, you may have noticed some changes around the site today. Or, you know, a complete overhaul. We’re pretty excited about it, so feel free to take a look around!
JoyFoodly was founded last year by Chef Hollie Greene, with a mission to create a new food culture where kids and families celebrate the JOY of good food together. She’s worked with 2,000 kids across the country, and has learned that kids naturally love exploring and eating fruits and vegetables (seriously!). We decided to update our look to reflect the joy we want families to feel when they discover new fruits and vegetables. Doesn’t our new branding make you feel happy? That’s how we want you to feel about feeding your family!
We’d like to give a giant virtual hug to Kayd Roy, our Minnesota-based designer who created the new JoyFoodly logo and branding. She has an awesome website with a great blog and portfolio, with lots of tips for freelancers and great branding work. Kayd was a complete joy to work with, and we’re so happy with our new look! Here’s a peak at some of the branding she designed for us:
More Information about the Joyful 12!
You may have noticed some talk about a new product we’re building, called the Joyful 12. The Joyful 12 is an online crash course developed to help your family get more fruits and vegetables into your diet each month of the year, from savory winter squash, to spring artichokes, to summer okra, and sweet fall apples.
We’re launching a Beta in March, and we’d love for you to join us! We’ll be announcing more soon, but for now you can visit our Joyful 12 page and learn more about the program, see a preview of the content, and sign up to be the first to learn about the Beta when it launches.
Let us know what you think!
As JoyFoodly’s Creative Director, I put together this site and would love to know what you think. We added all sorts of fun features for you – recipe boxes (see any of our Seasonal Recipes), pinterest buttons on all the blog photos, social media integration, Facebook comments, you name it! If you’d like to see anything else, or just want to say hi, feel free to drop me a line.
